The Summation Index Chart summarizes the number of stocks advancing and declining each day. When the Summation Index is above its moving average the growth stocks perform very well. They also perform well when the summation index is above 1000. The growth stocks do not perform well when the summation index is between 1000 and -300.

When the Summation Index has been below -400 and below its moving average, a BUY signal can occur when the oscillator goes above 2000 and the Summation Index moves above it's moving average. For the buy signal to sustain, the Summation Index should go above 1100 and not go below it's moving average till it reachs that value.

When the Summation Index has been below -400 and below its moving average and the oscillator goes above 2000 but the Summation Index is below it's moving average, consider it a "fake" signal, just to draw investors in before going down again.

This chart measures the percentage of stocks above their 50 day and 200 day moving average. When both these numbers are close to 70, it indicates that the market is temporarily extended. When these numbers are close to 25, it indicates that the market is oversold. This chart needs to be used in conjunction with other indicators to pinpoint the exact buy and sell date for short term trading.

When 50 day MA is below 200 day MA and the value of [10 minus 2] is less then 0.5, investing in growth stocks can be challenging.
When [10 minus 2] is above the 200 day MA then, investing in growth stocks can be fruitful.
